Elephant Falls,Shillong

Elephant Falls located around 12 km from Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya State is a unique site frequented by tourists and travellers throughout the year. Shown in this video are the picturesque sights around the Elephant Falls.

It is believed that when the British found this spot, they named it Elephant Falls because there was a rock on the left side of the falls, which resembled an elephant. But later in an earthquake in 1894, the rock got destroyed.
