The festival is held in the month of January every year at the courtyard of Kuthira Malika Palace at East Fort, Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. Swati Kritis are the jewels of compositions in the Carnatic music world.
The performance is on the Keerthana: Palayasadha… composed by Swathi Thirunal, Raaga: Nalinakanthi, Taala: Adhi. Accompanying him is Sri. Nagai Muraleedharan on the Violin, Sri. P. Satheesh Kumar on the Mridangam, Sri. Manjoor Unnikrishnan on the Ghatam and Sri. Payyannur T. Govindaprasad on the Morsingh or Jew’s Harp.
