Hindu festival celebrated with pomp and gaiety

The Dussera festival, which marks the triumph of good over evil, was celebrated with pomp and gaiety all over India recently.

People in Mysore city in southern India took out a procession to mark the victory of god king Rama over the Demon King Ravana.
Durga Puja, Calcutta
In West Bengal however people celebrated the festival of Durga Puja, dedicated to Hindu Goddess Durga.
