Royal collections dominate couture week

India’s first ever Haute Couture week was held in September. Top models walked the ramp dressed in the collections of designers J.J. Vallaya and Ashish Soni. There are many misconceptions about couture, according to designer Vallaya. Fashion shows are not just about clothes, but a designer has to take care of the message that the show sends out.
