1983 World cup Cricket Victory Jubilee celebration

Lords the cricket field in England recently witnessed the re-enactment of India’s happiest day in cricket. It was a silver jubilee anniversary celebration of India’s triumph in the world cup of 1983. It was an occasion when in the Lord’s field an average Indian team was led by Kapil Dev to win an unlikely 43 run win over the West Indies after a disastrous batting collapse dashed West Indies’ hope for a title hat trick.
