Colourful fountains attracts tourists towards Deeg Fort

Deeg town, though historically important, had not figured prominently in the tourist map of Rajasthan. That is, until recently. Now the three centuries old Deeg Fort has been spruced up and made attractive to the tourists. Deeg is now gradually featuring on the tourist map of Rajasthan and India. The Fort and palace belonging to the Jat kings of Bharatpur are now laid out with flower beds. The leading attractions are the 1000 fountains installed in the quadrangle of the Fort garden.
