Preparations for Holi, the festival of colours in Jaipur

With Holi, the Hindu festival of colours at hand, manufacturers of 'Gulal' in Jaipur are working round the clock to meet the demand. Akin to its eminent jewellery and handicrafts, Rajasthan is also known for the 'Gulal' which is famous countrywide for its quality and brilliant hues. The main reason that sets 'Gulal' of Rajasthan apart from other makers elsewhere is the availability of quality marble powder, the basic raw material.
