On an enduring day at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, India the Men in Blue beat Sri Lanka by six wickets in a spellbinding final of the ICC World Cup. Indian captain M. S. Dhoni’s unbeatable 91 runs and Gautham Gambhir’s 97 runs helped team India to chase the score of 274 by the Sri Lankan’s in the final. It was Team India’s brilliant fielding and clever bowling spearheaded by Zaheer Khan that helped India to win the WC.
