Kailashanathar Temple, a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva in Kanchipuram

Kailashanathar Temple at Kanchipuram, the city of temples, is one of the earliest temples in South India. The temple is dedicated Lord Shiva and was built by the Pallava ruler Rajasimha at Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu state. This temple is the oldest one in Kanchipuram and its edifice has been elaborately decorated with all the 64 aspects of Lord Shiva.
