Thiruvalluvar Statue, Kanyakumari beach

Thiruvalluvar Statue is one of the major attractions of Kanyakumari tourism in Tamil Nadu state, India. This stone sculpture is dedicated to Thiruvalluvar, the great Tamil poet and the author of the Tamil epic Thirukural. Located adjacent to the SwamiVivekananda Rock, Thiruvalluvar statue is 133 feet high.

Kanyakumari or Cape Comorin, the geographical end of the Indian mainland, is a famous beach destination  noted for the confluence of three seas - the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal.
