Thirumalai Naicker Mahal, Madurai

This video features the inside view of Thirumalai Naicker Mahal (palace) in Madurai, Tamilnadu state of India. It was constructed in 1636 AD by the King Thirumalai Naicker, the then ruler of Madurai. 

This palace is an example of the architectural marvel during that time. The palace was designed by an Italian architect and was erected in the Indo-saracenic style. It is believed that the king lived in this palace during his reign.
