Featured in this video is Vande Mataram being sung by a group of artistes at Kyra Theatre in Bangalore city as part of Freedom Jam. This is a musical event held every year on August 15th in Bangalore (now Bengaluru) city, Karnataka state in India.

Vande Mataram is a song written in 1882 by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, a great composer and poet of Bengal (West Bengal). This video features a new version of this composition.
