Tripura University, Agartala

Tripura University, one of the main central Universities in India is located at Suryamaninagar near the capital of Tripura state, Agartala. Established in the year 1987, is an embodiment in fulfilling hopes and aspirations for the people.

The University provides seventeen post-graduate courses, 38 graduation courses under various Departments, Directorates and centres, and also Ph.D programmes for various subjects. The centre for Tribal language offers one year diploma course in Kokborok (main tribal language of Tripura). Graduation, post-graduation is also there for the tribal language.
