Evening at Gangotri

As evening draws at Gangotri, the many ashrams, dharmasalas and the Gangotri Temple becomes active with people and sadhus involved in prayers, bhajans and other ceremonies. One could easily pick up the fragrance of incense that soon spreads out in the town during this time. Gangotri is situated on the foot of Himalayas in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.
