Lord Shiva statue in Haridwar, Uttarakhand

Featured in this video is the statue of Lord Shiva in Haridwar, a popular pilgrim center in Uttarakhand state of India. Located next to the River Ganga in the holy city of Haridwar, this huge statue enthralls devotees from around the world.

The Shiva statue is flanked by a statue of Swami Vivekananda. In the name Haridwar; Hari means god and dwar means gateway and hence it is known as Gateway to God.
