Walls of the Taj Mahal develop cracks

Cracks on the walls of monument of love, Taj Mahal have become visible raising serious concerns over the structural safety of the 360-year-old monument. The monument rests on huge wooden slabs placed inside deep wells perennially filled with water to protect the foundation. Due to the low water level in the Yamuna River the water-borne foundation of the Taj is drying up.
