Hindu students attracted by Muslim Madrasas

Madrasas popularly known for imparting Islamic education are attracting an increasing number of Hindu students in West Bengal after the Islamic schools shifted to teaching modern subjects including science and technology. In West Bengal, 558 Government registered Madrasas are imparting modern and scientific education to thousands of children. Majority of students and teachers at these schools are Hindus.
