Kalabhavan College of Arts
Featured here is the campus of the College of Arts, famously known as Kalabhavan, in Shantinikethan. Founded in the year 1919 on the suggestion of Tagore, it is well-known as a distinguished centre for Visual Art practice and research in India. Renowned artists like Nandalal Bose, Ramkinkar Baij, and K.G. Subramanyan were once part of Kalabhavan. Black House (Kalo Bari) a mud house situated here, where the students of Kalabhavan reside.
