The Golghar is a huge granary located at Patna, the capital city of Bihar state, India. Also known as the round house it was built by Captain John Garstin in 1786 as a store granary for the British army at the time of possible famine. The winding staircase of the granary offers a spectacular view of Patna city and the River Ganges nearby.
