These are the cute, colourful wooden dolls from Uttar Pradesh. It is an ancient craft, where the toys are made in wood with sets of birds, animals, orchestras and dance ensembles. These toys are gaily painted and typically Indian in themes. Varanasi is the centre of doll making in the state.

It is Surajkund Crafts Mela, a fair by Haryana Tourism to promote Indian tradition of handloom and handicraft, which hosts the display these colorful toys.
