Palitana, a popular city and a major pilgrim centre for Jains is located in Bhavnagar district, Gujarat state of India. Palitana temples are believed to be the most sacred destinations by the Jain community.

Featured here is the Balavasahi Tunk, a structure in Palitana temple complex. The tunk was built by Balabhai in the year 1893 of the Vikram era. The Hemavasahi Tunk is also seen.
