A glistening laze of blue, sparkling in the morning Sun. This was the sight of River Shyok, in summer, winding through the Shyok Valley, with towering range of the Shyok Mountains on its flanks. Originating in the Siachen Glacier, the video shows the river flowing through an arid valley close to Nubra with a predominance of xerophytic vegetation. Shyok further down its course joins the Indus.
