Murudeshwar Beach is one of the most visited beaches in Karnataka state, India. Scattered with coconut and areca groves, bordered with the shimmering sea with rolling hills on the other side, it is an ideal travel destination in the state. This serene beach at Murudeshwar is located near Bhatkal in Uttara Kannada district.

The place is believed to have been sanctified by a piece of the Pranalinga of Mahabaleshwara thrown by Ravana. The place is also noted for the gorgeous temple situated on a hillock by the shore.
