Built in 1620, by Ibrahim Adil Shah, in memory of his wife Queen Taj Sultana, this bavdi is a pond, 223 ft. Square and 52 ft in depth. Even when the water level lowers, the user can go to the water level using the steps made especially for the purpose. Walls, arches and other additional structures make the construction attractive.
