Mizhavu is a large pot shaped native drum used in the performance of art forms like Koothu and Kutiyattam. A scene from Irinjalakkuda, Thrissur, where this unique drum is being made. There are many phases including the heating of copper plate, giving it form and covering its mouth with leather.
