About 'Panchaloha idols from Kunjimangalam'

Kunhimangalam at Payyannur, Kannuar, kerala, is famous for its tradition of making Panchaloha idols. The idols from Kunjimangalam can be seen many temples of inside and outside Kerala. Apart from the idols of Hindu Gods and Goddesses made out of the alloy of five metals - gold, silver, copper, brass and iron, unique lamps like Lekshmi Vilakku are also being produced here.
