C. Kesavan’s statue at Kozhencherry

Featured in this video is the statue of C. Kesavan, former Chief Minister of Travancore-Cochin during 1951–1952, situated at Kozhencherry in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala, India. 

A prominent Congress leader of yesteryears, C. Kesavan’s Kozhencherry Address - on May 13, 1935 during a general meeting of the party -  was a major turning point in the Kerala history. C. Kesavan, founder of the Malayalam daily Kerala Kaumudi, had made revolutionary changes in the social, cultural and political spheres of Kerala.
