About 'Milky cascade - Athirappally waterfalls'

The Athirappally waterfall is one of the most popular picnic spots in Kerala. Situated in Thrissur district, this enchanting tourist destination attracts many national and foreign tourists. The waterfall is situated about 1000 feet above sea level and has a height of 80 feet. This is one of the biggest waterfalls in Kerala and stands at the entrance to the Sholayar forests. Athirappalli is a favourite of movie makers, too, with its picture post card looks.

Its here in this lovely place, Mani Ratnam, the south indian hit maker, shot his film Roja.. even his latest film Gura has a song scene starring Abhishek and Aiswarya Rai has credits to this lovely waterfall of Kerala.
