Erumeli, situated in Kottayam district, Kerala State of India is famous for its temple dedicated to Lord Ayyappa. The town is famous as pilgrims to Sabarimala pass through this place. Lakhs of pilgrims en route to Sabarimala visit this temple at Erumeli, where they also perform Petta Thullal; a ritualistic dance form.

Erumeli, during the Sabarimala pilgrim season, (from November to Januray) gets crowded with devotees and locals. Shown in this video are pilgrims at the Lord Ayappa Temple in Eruimeli, before proceeding to Sabarimala.
