The Birla Sun temple or the Surya Mandir is one of the important destinations in the historical city of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh State of India. The Sun Temple, built of red sandstone was built in 1988 by the famous industrialist of India, G. D Birla. The temple, which displays exquisite architectural marvel, has a beautiful sculpture of Lord Surya (Sun).
