Horniman Circle in Mumbai

The Horniman Circle is a semi-circular shaped area situated in Mumbai (Bombay). It was built in 1860. This area occupies an array of buildings and office complexes.

In the midst of this area, there is a park which is known as Horniman Circle Gardens. It can be seen from the Asiatic library which bears a collection of books and manuscripts.

Within the circle there is a big banyan tree which is very old. The St. Thomas cathedral, stock exchange building and the State Bank of India are near this area.
