Nehru Science Odyssey in Mumbai (formerly Bombay) is a spherical dome auditorium within the Nehru Science Centre. This is a place which provides a virtual experience to the people who visit here. It is equipped with a projector system specially imported from Japan.

You can see magnified images of science films in the spherical dome by the fish eye lens on the projector. The screen at the dome has large number of powder coated aluminum sheets.

It is a unique experience watching the moving images on reclining chairs. The seating capacity inside the Science Odyssey is 200. It has been set up by National Council of Science Museums (NCSM). The total cost required to erect this building was 7.2 crores. Similar spherical dome auditoriums are also working in Kolkata, Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Jalandhar.
