Indian Rope trick, one of the early magical items belonging to the country. It was popular till the end of 19th century. In the classical version of this trick, the boy who climbs on the rope disappears and the fakir climbs the rope in search of boy. After screaming sounds, the limbs of the boy come down from the sky. The fakir comes down, collects the limbs and puts them in a basket... the boy comes out unhurt. It is one of the greatest illusions by magicians anywhere in the world.
