Every Sikh shrine (called Gurdwaras) has some speciality. The Gurdwara Dera Sant Hazara Singh situated at Gurdaspur in Punjab has an unusual speciality. It trains soccer players. Named the Sant Baba Hazara Singh Football Academy, the Gurdwara’s soccer training centre has formed a team out of the village youth by nurturing budding local talent.
