Dhyana

Tatha pratyeka tanata dhyanam

An uninterrupted flow of attention towards the same point is called dhyana or profound contemplation.

Dhyana is meditation. This is the act of moving the consciousness towards the greater self through profound contemplation. The sadhaka can only perform this after achieving complete control over the wandering mind. In absolute dhyana the sense of ego vanishes and the practitioner experiences a pure state of innocence
