Kabini

Being located on the banks of Kabini river, Kabini is 208 km away from Bengaluru, the capital city of Karnataka state of southern India. Mysore is 80 km away from this place by road. This area also includes the south-eastern part of Nagarhole sanctuary. This place was a favorite hunting spot for the Maharajas of Mysore, Viceroys and Indian Royalty.

This forest reserve sprawls over 55 acres of land. This picturesque green landscape is surrounded by the murmuring waters of Kabini river. Tourists can also see a dam across Beechanahalli.

This safari is provided near Sunkadakattee. The main animal to be seen in Kabini are the elephants. Kabini houses nearly 6000 numbers of Asiatic elephants.

Jungle Safari:
Nature lovers and environmentalists can opt for jungle safari. This takes the travelers deep into the vast lush green thick forests of Kabini.
