The Metemneo Festival of the Yimchungers of Nagaland is a five-day festival, celebrated after the harvest of millet.
The festival is a time of forgiveness and reconciliation, a time for remembering the departed, a time to revere agricultural implements as well as a time of engagements for young couples.
