Aruta - to decrease the seizure of epileptic convulsion

Scientific name   : Ruta Graveolens
Sanskrit name    : Santhapa
English name      : Garden Rue

Uproot a small plant and tie it to the body of the child who is at the seizure of epileptic convulsion. The symptoms will soon subside. Smelling the herb also does good in such condition.

The scent of the herb has the power to keep away snakes from the garden where it grows.
