Abbey Falls Coorg In Karnataka

Abbey Falls, also spelt Abbi Falls is a mesmerizing spot located 8 km away from the town of Madikeri, in Kodagu (Coorg), Karnataka state of India. Cuddled up amidst lush greenery, the rain water in the mountain ranges of the Western Ghats combines at this spot and then descends to the Cauvery River. The water level is very high during monsoon season and diminishes during the dry season.

The hanging bridge, opposite the fall offers tourists a fascinating view of the surrounding places. The famous Kali Mata Temple is located near this fall, situated amidst beautiful coffee and spice plantations.
