Ingredients for Mango Pachadi

Cut pieces of ripe mango – 2
Grated coconut - 1 cup
Small onion – 3
Green chilli – 5
Ginger - 1
Curd - 1 cup
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Dry red chilli - 3
Oil
Salt to taste

Method of preparation

We begin by boiling the chopped ripe mango in half-a-cup of water, along with salt and turmeric powder. Cover and cook. After the mango pieces are well cooked, add the coconut paste, made by grinding coconut, ginger, green chillies, mustard seeds and small onion. Mix well. Boil for two minutes and keep it aside. Now add the seasoning made in one teaspoon of oil with mustard seeds, red chillies and curry leaves. On cooling down, add the curd and mix well. Manga Pachadi is now ready to serve.
