Grand reception for Oscar winner Resul Pookutty

Film industry of Kerala felicitated India's Oscar winner Resul Pookutty, heaping on him encomium at a function in Kochi region of the state on Wednesday. Pookutty, who hails from Kerala's Kollam district, shared the Sound Mixing Oscar with Ian Tapp and Richard Pryke for his work in the Danny Boyle's film 'Slumdog Millionaire'. Pookutty was accorded a grand reception, artistes performed on the song 'Jai Ho' that earned his fame at the academy awards.
