Honouring old teachers in Cotton Hill School, Thiruvananthapuram

Cotton Hill School is one of the oldest schools and is situated in Vazhuthacaud in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala. This is a well-known school in the city and it is considered as the largest girl’s school in Asia.

On 12th February 2010, Cotton Hill School Old Teachers and Students Association (COTSA) organized a function in which many of the old students and teachers participated. The Princess of Travancore royal family Smt. Gauri Parvathi Bhai was the chief guest and she inaugurated the function. Personalities from many sectors who were once the part of this institution attended the function.

K.S. Chithra, one of the popular playback singers in the film industry, yesteryear actress Karthika, IAS officer and the Chief Electoral Officer Smt. Nalini Netto, poet and activist Smt. Sugathakumari were also present at the function held in the school. On the occasion old teachers were honoured by the then students.
