Urulaikizhangu Bajji or Potato Bajji
Urulaikizhangu (Potato) – 2
Lentil Flour – 250 gm
Chilli Powder – ½ teaspoon
Bajji Powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Asafoetida – ½ teaspoon
Refined oil – 250 gm
Salt to taste
Method of preparation
• Put lentil flour in a bowl – Add ½ tea spoon chilly powder, – ½ teaspoon Bajji Powder, ¼ teaspoon asafetida and salt to taste. Mix well with water to make a thick paste.
• Make thin round slices of potato.
• Pour refined oil in a frying pan. When the oil becomes hot, dip the potato pieces in the batter and deep fry. Serve hot.
