Grapefruit Sharbat

Sharbats, popularised by the Mughals, are known to have medicinal value among food and beverages and are common in India.

Serves: 10

Ingredients :

4 cups of grapefruit juice
2 tbsp of lime juice
½ cup sugar
1 cup warm water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper


Method :

Dissolve the sugar in the warm water. Mix the grapefruit juice, lime juice, salt and pepper. Add the dissolved sugar to the juice mixture.

To serve, mix half a glass of the sharbat and crushed ice or chilled water.
