Botanical name - Crocus sativus
Family - Iridaceae

A bulbous herb grown for aromatic stigmas. The saffron stigma taken in cow’s milk is believed to be a Herbs aid for skin. Paste of saffron is used as a dressing for bruises, sores and rheumatism
