Featured in this video is a man-made forest popularly known as Kareem forest, situated in Kasaragod district in the state of Kerala, India. Kareem, a native of Kerala is behind this green venture, which is a notable example of forest conservation.

Just as in a natural forest, one can find here different varieties of plants, trees and shrubs. This forest has a number of medicinal plants along with diverse species of birds and small wild animals.

Students doing research on various environmental subjects often visit this place, which is spread over 32 acres of land.
