Pachana (digestion)
In this kind of Purvakarma, drugs are administered to help digest the Amam present in the stomach in the form of molecules of undigested food material.

Snehana (oleation)
Oleation is carried out in two ways :
(a)    Bahya Snehana (External oleation)
(b)    Abhyanthara Snehana (Internal oleation)

In this, sweating is induced using medicated steam or by way of fomentation.
