Beemapally at Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) is a famous muslim pilgrim centre. The Chandanakkudam Maholsavam held here each year is remarkable. During the festival, devotees bring money in pots decorated with flowers, incense sticks and sandalwood paste, as offerings. The mosque also houses the tombs of Syedunnisa Beema Beevi and Syedushuhadamaheen Abubacker.
