Vajrasana

The pelvic pose or diamond pose

Stand on your knees. Place your knees close and the feet a little apart.

Gently sit back in between your feet. Adjust your feet to be closer to the buttocks. Straighten your body and stretch the hands forward to place your palms covering the knees.

Effect: Organs in the lower abdomen are benefited by this posture. The power of digestion is enhanced. For better health diabetic patients are advised to sit 10 – 15 minutes in Vajrasana after every meal. The posture is said to have the power to stimulate the pancreas.
