Sit on the floor with your legs stretched out straight in front. Keep the feet close together. Hold the tip of the toes with your hands while keeping the body as erect as possible.

Inhale and slowly pull the left leg up and bring it close to your left ear. Do not let the hold on the other leg go. Hold the position and breathe normally. Repeat the movement on the other side.

Benefits: This asana improves flexibility of the leg muscles. Abdominal muscles are also strengthened.
